The following are other projects a FFA member can participate in and be part of the show outside of the plant and animals:

Floral Design:

Any FFA Member who has taken floral design, or is currently enrolled in floral design, can compete in this competition. It is $35 and all the student has to do is show up the Friday of show and create a floral design. The contest starts at 2:30pm and the student will have an hour to complete design. The Grand and Reserve champion designs will receive a buckle and sell in the auction. Grand Champion will also receive a trophy. All other designs can be sold in the tent sale.

Ag Mechanics:

If a student is in the ag mechanics class, they can exhibit a project that was made in class during the school year.

Agriscience Fair:

A student can conduct a science experiment or research project and show it for a chance to receive a buckle. Grand Champion will also receive a trophy. 

Photography:

Students can capture a photo and submit it to the photography contest. The photo must meet the criteria listed in the yearly show rules. Grand and Reserve Champions will receive a buckle. Grand Champion will also receive a trophy.
